well lets see the price was too good to be true and ended up finding out the processor that i thought i was buying was not the one i was going to receive. ended up getting a refund rather than receiving what i ordered at the stated price, and for some reason i am giving a review on a product that i didn't receive at the price indicated . from Amazon.com I purchased this as an upgrade for my HP EX740 Windows home server, works great, runs cool and boosted the system performance by 40%. from Amazon.com well lets see the price was too good to be true and ended up finding out the processor that i thought i was buying was not the one i was going to receive. ended up getting a refund rather than receiving what i ordered at the stated price, and for some reason i am giving a review on a product that i didn't receive at the price indicated . from Amazon.com And since world at war requires more computer to run it. Call of Duty 4 seems to say in the 50's to 70's FPS area. Didn't Overclock the GPU settings, just the processor to 3.1GHz while running Windows Xp Pro x64. One more thing, I'm running at 3.1GHz at a steady 35degrees Celcius when idle and for the most part. from Newegg.com Pros: Fast, true 64-bit, idles almost at room temperature, cooling fan is quiet, large L1 cache. Excellent choice for an upgrade or to built a new budget PC with integrated graphics. from Newegg.com Other Thoughts: I had a spare motherboad laying around from an RMA and was looking for something cheap to put on it. anything that i put on the board was going to be faster than what it was to replace. I was shocked how snappy this processor feels. I have a 6400+ in my main pc and this feels pretty close to it when doing normal things thanks to the 2.7 ghz speed. from Newegg.com Pros: Good performance per watt. Overclocked well while keeping the stock mutiplier and stock voltage, I got it a little past 3.1Ghz stable on just changing CPU Frequency alone. Price is excelent for a AMD64 CPU.
