I was building a low-budget Intel-Based computer and I picked this CPU since it was the cheapest dual-core offering. From the beginning, I intended to overclock the CPU by raising the FSB from 800MHz to 1066MHz, in hopes of achieving a final CPU speed of 11*266 = 2.93GHz. from Amazon.com Pros: Hello I was surprised at how fast this chip was. With Vista it got a 5.3 out of the box. from Newegg.com Pros: Dual core! This thing is VERY fast for 2.2 GHz. Runs Crysis and many other programs without lag at once. from Newegg.com Pros: Powerful low priced point processor. Dual core Celeron processors have been excellent over the past year I have been using them. This is the first one of the 2.2 GHz chips I have bought. from Newegg.com and very good overclocking potential for the price. I bought to put in a budget system and it runs well. I've got it overclocked to3.1gHz and 2.95 gHz stable on air and its sitting at 19c temp!
