Pros: Good price and functions great. Cons: Information on this is misleading. The Intel website states that ordering codes that begin with BX have VT-x. The item shipped from Newegg with the BX ordering code, but does not have VT-x. from Newegg.com I checked the Intel ARK site before I ordered this processor, and two of the listed variations said "boxed" on them and both boxed processors supported Intel VT-x. I assumed this was considered a boxed processor, and as such, would support VT-x. from Amazon.com Pros: For the Dual-Core Processor's this is the best deal. Comparing the Processor's above it there was not much of a difference. from Newegg.com Pros: Great processor for the money. It's already at 2.93 averaging close to 3.0ghz. Upgrading my brothers computer with this processor. from Newegg.com Pros: very fast...so very fast Cons: none Other Thoughts: very good upgade from a pentium 2....i can actually play games now and process words from Newegg.com Fast and running cool so far. Cons: None for me. Other Thoughts: Using this core 2 duo for my Windows 7 RC build along with a pretty cheap (yet awesome) Intel board and I am blown away. This computer is replacing a P4 HP d530 and it is just lightening quick. from Newegg.com Pros: As far i can tell Intel makes the fastest highest quality processors of anyone in the tech world. This dual core Wolfdale runs absolutely fantastic and also very cool. from Newegg.com Pros: Great Proc for an upgrade from an AMD Single Core. Fast enough to run most games and with a decent vid card this thing screams. from Newegg.com That way you can line up the holes better and won't warp the board as much. Other Thoughts: This CPU is good if you want a mid-range CPU that will last you about a year before it's considered a little out dated. you can always upgrade to a quad 2 core in a year or so.
