This is still by far the best bang for buck processor you can get. Out the box its at 2.8 so which is more than enough to run pretty much anything faster than any Dual core, yes even the E8400 4Ghz. The Core is easily overclockable to 3.5Ghz at which point it becomes a whole new level of awesomeness, it'll handle any game like Crysis and run them with no problems or hiccups. from Amazon.com With the new i7, some stores are putting on fire sales for these chips. It's possible to get these on sale for the same price as an E8400. from Amazon.com The OEM heatsink is small, causing the CPU to run warmer than I wanted.
