some boards, namely the amd 780g boards run a lot better w/ a 95w processor than a 125w processor.

the new 940 would just workwrong - it seems with my board you needed to update the bios to use the pii cpusbought a replacement processer, x2 @ cheap, but by then the motherboard didn't work anymore.

high for a phenom...buyer beware that you could be buying a product which has a piece of silicon which may have failed amd quality control twice, and hence had two cores shut down due to defects.
