Wize Buying Guide for Invitations & Cards

Printing your own invitations or greeting cards allows you to add a personal touch with a professional finish. Making personalized invitations and cards is easier than you might think: all you need is a simple photo printer. You don’t necessarily need a dedicated type of printer, but there are some guidelines to consider.

The most popular card photo printers are easy to set up and use, and are often quite affordable. You can use them to print invitations and cards, as well as photos from your digital camera. Adding a photo is a great way to personalize a card, and these lightweight, compact photo printers make it easy.

For more versatility, consider getting an all-in-one printer. All in-one-printers typically cost a little more but can be used for many purposes. Most include a scanner and copier for all of your home office needs. Look for printers that accommodate the different sizes of paper or card that you will be using. For light printing needs, inkjets do a great job, produce bright colors and deliver quality results. But if you have heavy printing needs, take a look at laser printers. These heavyweight machines uses toner cartridges in place of ink jets. While laser printers are more expensive to set up and the cartridges are more expensive to replace, they can be less expensive in the long run and produce outstanding results.
