Best Printers for Starter

Casual users and novices might consider sticking to the wired capability - which was easily set up when the CD was used in a Windows enviro (see above).

It will take us a quite a while to use the starter toner cartridge, and I have no problem spending $50 on an extended life toner replacement compared to the frequency we previously replaced our $60 ink cartridge combos.

The new printer price for this machine amounts to false advertising because the "starter" toner cartride yields less than 1000 sheets at 5% coverage which means YOU HAVE TO FACTOR IN THE COST OF NEW TONER CARTRIDGE INTO THE NEW PRINTER PRICE.

I only need to print a few pages/month so I expect the "starter" cartridge will last me for the next 5-10 years and I'll need to open the printer tray again only when the paper starts turning yellow.

Comes with starter cartridge but that is to be expected with any printer.

The toner included is a STARTER toner, which means that it averages MUCH less than 1500 pages.

Wish I'd read more of the negative reviews before buying this thing, because all it ever had to say to me was "paper jam" right from the beginning.

I've used all the ink in the starter cartridges that come with the printer and am now using the funnel fill.

And it even came with starter ink cartridges!
