Summary: Check out my review down a little, by Sacpiglet. This is the third 6210 I am on, it finally quit working due to an error "paper jam" and I can not get it cleared out. I DO NOT recommend buying this printer.

my hp 6210 all-in-one seemed like perfection until it broke after under 3 months light usage. have yet to take it in to the store for repair, but find it disgusting that i would have to!

This is the best printer plus multi-sheet scanner I have owned in 15 years for home-office use. I have used and over 8 different model/make printers and scanners. After having used all sorts, I found that Officejet 6210 was the most cost effective. Never had trouble sending any faxes or making duplicates with this gentle workhorse.

After 18 months it began printing erratically, and finally wouldn't even turn on...like it was completely dead. We contacted HP online support and they helped us run some simple checks, but they concluded it was a hardware problem and offered us a credit towards a newer up-market model which we declined.
We decided to give HP another chance and just purchased a 5610 All-in-One, which has decent reviews and seems to be a good seller. At this point I'm feeling a little like the proverbial narrow-minded new car shopper who keeps buying the same make even though he's had poor experience in the past, but at least this is only a $100 gamble.

This is an excellent all-in-one printer...until the paper jams. My first 6210 printer had to be replaced by HP because the printer wouldn't clear the paper jam error.
