It not possible to get the label software to run without crashing under Windows XP SP2; wasted several hours trying to make it work. As a Label Maker (3 stars): While ALL label printers are made to consume as much tape as possible, this one does allow you to adjust the length of the tape so that you don't print 6 inches of tape to print out the word CAT for example.
