After using the Epson R1900, I fouund it to be a very capable printer. Prints look fantastic with great detail.

My experience so far with the R1900 has been very good. The print drivers setup easily on Windows Vista (32 bit).

It's a huge printer, but I knew that going in. Not sure how quickly I will go through ink, but that's not a huge concern. Other Thoughts: Am replacing my Epson 1400 printer with this one only because I got a good price through New Egg on this printer, plus $150 rebate. My 1400 did a great job, but I knew this printer would take my photo printing to a new level and I am pretty excited about that!

I bought this printer thinking this would be the last one I purchase. I read all the reviews on this and perty much thats what I went by. First off the prints aren;t much better than my 5 yr.

Pros: Excellent printer. I bought this because my neighbor has an R1800 (Predecessor to R1900), and the results are absolutely beautiful. I am looking forward to enjoying this printer.

I have had this printer for over a year. This is the most expensive printer I have ever owned. Once receiving the printer I set it up and looked through the manual, no I didn't read it. I has taken me about a month to get used to all the settings and I have had to defer to the manual on a couple of occasions.

It is apparently just one big ink-sucking machine. I waste so much ink trying to get the gaps in my prints to go away. I'm constantly having to clean the print nozzles, print nozzle check patterns, replace cartridges, etc. etc.

I've been using my trusty old Epson 980 so when this huge box arrived it was a wee bit intimidating at first. I had to find a larger piece of furniture to set the R1900 up on.
