What's great about it:?Print Quality, Networking What's not so great:?Price of Toner, no paper bypass tray, speed "I had to purchase a new printer as my 3 year old all in one HP 3015 fax and scanner feature is not compatible with my new IMac. I decided to upgrade and get a color printer as well as network ability as I have a Mac and a PC at home. I thought it would be nice to share one printer. from Bestbuy.com First off I did not buy this printer thourgh Amazon. I have bought many, many products from Amazon and because of all the reviews on the products I have been able to buy wisely and have been very happy with all my purchases. I have owned this HP Color LaserJet CM1312nfi MFP printer since Nov. 08 and for the first few months it was good. from Amazon.com I've used my CM13123nfi for four months, consuming about 500 sheets of paper. The "low supply" warning just came on for black. from Amazon.com I had to call the support center to set up the fax since I did not have a dedicated line to the fax, but it is working very well right now. The scanning function is a bit slow but resolution is good. Have not printed photos yet, or used the networking function, so not sure how that would be, but this is the least expensive multifunction I found that would have color print, networking capabilities, photo printer, fax etc. I would recommend this multifunction printer for a small or home office. from Amazon.com Truth be told, the quality of color prints is a sight to behold, especially on such a compact printer, but the cost that we've incurred on toner alone has been a real detriment. We find ourselves replacing cartridges each month, at about $75 for each color. from Amazon.com I purchased a color laserjet CM1312nfi printer based upon recommendations made by an HP technician. I expected that technical support would be available 24 hours a day 7 days a week - as it is widely advertised from the box the printer came in, automated messages, emails, literature and advertisements. from Amazon.com Pros: - Great output - quality rivals the professional print shop where I work- Easy setup - I had it printing output within 20 minutes of bringing into my apartment- Size - while the printer is definitely large, it's not that bad considering it's a color laser all-in-one Cons: - Expensive - This is still pretty pricey compared to an ink jet- Photo printing quality - While photos come out looking good enough I think a dedicated ink jet photo printer would be better Other Thoughts: - It would be nice if I could set the calibration time based on a schedule (right now it's based off of the last time the printer was calibrated) from Newegg.com Pros: The best printer I have ever owned so far. Color pics are fantastic Cons: None so far from Newegg.com We have an IMac that runs both OSX and Vista. We use the machine for both personal and small business use.
