That would mean if I just need to print one word, I'm going to waste 1-2 inches of tape each time. I'm sure that's why I got such a good deal on this labeller. I had another Brother P-touch labeller that used the smaller tape cartridges and it only left about 1/2 inch of tape on each side which was reasonable for me. As for the QWERTY keypad, maybe those who don't know how to type, this keypad is better. from Buy.com This Brother Labeler is a basic entry level labeler. I've not used more complicated and expensive labelers from Brother and other companies, so I'm not comparing to other models.
