I purchased this printer to only print on printable CDs. This was to replace my old Epson R200 which I also only used to print on CDs. This printer has the same CD tray feeding issues.

1. I have used the printer mainly to print occasional documents i.e., I have not done heavy printing with this printer (I have another printer that I use to do that) and print virtually all of my photos using an online service. A few months ago when the ink light went on indicating that some of the color cartridges were running low, I started printing all web pages in grayscale, thinking that since I was no longer printing in color, I would just have to replace the black cartridge when it ran out.

Purchased this printer because it would print CD/DVD covers, and it does a great job. Epson Software works easily and guides this non-technical girl seamlessly thru all print jobs. Only four stars because when it prints, it is loud.

-After installing a brand new black cartridge, the printer printed nothing. When I tried to run a nozzle check, suddenly -magically!- the yellow is out and I cannot have access to my printer. Let me add that I am printing black and white text, not photos. I need no color for B&W.
