Integrations all work great. It blended nicely between the Lexmark software and my other applications. We have it on 3 different machines 2 running Vista and 2 running XP (one has both) and it had no issues even with the identical name of the Vista/XP OS's on the one machine. The scanning remotely feature works great even though some other reviews said you couldn't do such a thing.
This is my second Lexmark printer, after the X6150. I was able to add this to my network, set up and install on 4 computers - 2 laptops running XP, one laptop running Vista, and a dinosaur desktop running on CE.
With the wireless printing function, I just hit print and I am printing. I set it up to my wireless network myself in less than 30 minutes includng downloading the software. As a teacher and a PhD student, I often need to print immediately, and the Lexmark 6570 makes it happen. I love it!
Summary: Find another all-in-one printer - Lexmark X6570 is a looser. The wireless set up is terrible & takes a magician to make it work.
No user's guide supplied. Customer support is fair to poor. "I needed a printer for my daughter and bought the X6570 because of the Lexmark name, price, and wireless capabilities. I expected a so-so printer for this price.
Other Thoughts: I understand if you want photo printing you need to replace a cartridge... I may do that or buy a dedicated photo printer. Also drivers and usability is so much better than my last Lexmark printer (X83) which is still working for my sister and her family.
I purchased the Lexmark x6570 hastily late at night when my longtime printer finally quit on me. The store I was at did not have a great selection of printers but the thing that drew me to the Lexmark x6570 was its WiFi function.
running a small business with it and it works great.
we share it through built-in wireless networking.
