Have always used HP printers until now. Liked the features listed for this printer and have heard some good reports on ink usage so I thought I'd give it a try. from Amazon.com I am able to work from home becasue I have this unit. I love the feature in which I can scan to email as PFDs. I have been using the printer for 6 months and need to replace the black, so I am happy with the ink usage. The paper handling may not be perfect but it is way better than the last HP I had and has never jammed on me. from Amazon.com The printer worked fine for about 4 months, then nothing Black would print. Installed new cartridge even though existing one was 3/4 full. from Amazon.com This machine arrived very promptly. The machine does everything as advertised, and was relatively easy to set up and use for the first time. from Amazon.com We have been using this printer in a small office for about 6 months, and we find it unacceptable. The fax scans all pages before sending, and will not allow you to interrupt a fax once it has started (even the power button is disabled). from Amazon.com a givenawesome! The color printing is excellent quality! from Newegg.com I never though that external USB and RJ45 connectors were a feature, but after using this thing I'll never take them for granted again. It never successfully networked with my apple network. This Brother machine, though, couldn't handle them at all. It would slip, snag, snarl and jam every 10th sleeve. from Newegg.com Cons: Fairly large Other Thoughts: The price of ink MUST be calculated into your purchase.
