The Brother HL-5370DW Printer Brother HL-5370DW Laser Printer with Wireless Networking and Duplex is a good value and has pleasantly met my expectations except for three areas: 1) It was a little time-consuming and difficult for our IT person to set up the wireless connection and he knows what he's doing - imagine someone who doesn't do that for a living; 2# It will NOT print envelopes correctly. Even when you open the back rather then run it through the printer they are all wrinkled and smashed together, just terrible...that's the only really bad feature of this printer; 3) I can't permanently change the Default Sleep Mode.

I'm a big fan of Brother printers. I have this working over my wireless network (Apple Airport Extreme Router) and printing from two macs running Snow Leopard 10.6.

I've had this printer for a week or ten days, and it works fine through the USB connection. Fast and decent print quality. I have, however spent hours trying unsuccessfully to network the printer, either wired or wireless. The instructions are terrible and confusing, way beyond any other printer I've ever owned.

Great printer for home office (actually it's better than the one I have at my office!). Fast duplex printing, fantastic print quality, extremely reliable, and very affordable considering these characteristics. I owned a Brother printer before this - it is still going strong after 8 years.

My HP died after many years. I ran to the store in a panic (didn't have time for Amazon) and insisted on another HP. The salesperson showed me the HP, then the Brother.

This is an amazingly fast (and quiet!) printer. It is fast, quiet, hooks easily into your home network as a wireless printer (available to everyone on your net) and has great support for Macs too! Highly recommended.

Usually there's some quality about one that makes you say, "It would have been perfect, but if only it didn't have this one problem." Each aspect of this printer is as good or better than pretty much all other printers out there at this time. And I'm a person who is relentless when it comes to researching products before buying them for myself.
Resolution: It goes up to 1200x1200, which is the highest out there currently. 1200x1200 is best for text.

Fast, quality printing with double-sided capability, comes with a full standard 3000-page toner unit in the box, has wireless and wired and USB and parallel interfaces, all at an amazing price.
On the other hand, toner costs seem to be quite high.

This printer was a snap to install. I used a network cable over a secured network and I had 4 computers printing in about 30 minutes.
