the server is windows xp and windows vista capable.
it seems to work fine with windows xp.
xp and vista had all the drivers i needed.
when i finally signed into the unit and changed the ip address to match my router, windows xp went into a conflict mode about ip addresses and the control panel froze.
pros: small cons: could never get it to work with my hp psc 1310 printing from a dell running xp pro and a macbook pro running leopard.
additional thoughtsthe print server software may not have any real use in a win xp environment but i installed it anyway and until i had the ip address of the print server corrected it helped me to
it worked as expected on windows 2000 and xp.
changed ip address to a local ip for my network and then hooked up server to the router and had no problem setting up with both windows xp and mac os x computers in my home network.
i can print from both windows and solaris (unix).
in addition to that d-link does not require any additional software to be installed in order to connect this printer (using windows xp - i'm not sure about any other operating system).
