i got this for use with the canon selphy es1 compact photo printer - wanting to allow wireless printing from cell phones.

my son even prints from his bluetooth capable mobile phone.

you can send a picture directly from your cell phone equipped with bluetooth to the canon printer.

make sure you set a passcode for the bluetooth though, people randomly send my printer pictures from their phones, and they aren't the most pleasant pictures haha.

i plan to use it as a bridge when i move my office there, with at least 2 pcs and a voip phone connected through it.
