Best USB Print Servers for Main

the install was easy and well documented, sometimes the unit needs to be powered down to wake it up, otherwise it is a good little server.

use any other selection then that, then unplug the printer while it is on and connected to the server, plug it back in and see how it works.

this printer has parallel and usb and both work.(usb to the print server and parallel to my desktop)my router is wireless and my wireless laptop prints to it very fast.

while i couldn't get this product working with my specific printer, i do not blame it, since it is the third brand print server i have tried with same printer.

i used this product in conjunction with our small office netwrok, and it works perfectly fine from every computer in the office.

one of the best print servers i bought and used very simple to set up and for the price using with xp and vista on a brother mfc210c all in one

i installed the product with some dificulty as the install program had trouble recognizing the print server.

hp jet direct print servers and an old netgear ps110 print server as well, and i had no issues with getting the iogear to work, it went very smoothly on my home network powered by a dlink dir-655.

but it is a great little print server...

i wanted to be able to put my printer on the home network so i could share it between a laptop and desktop computer.

the setup with windows xp is a little weird, but the installation guide talks you through it step by step.

i purchased this mainly because i wanted the other computers on our home network to be be able to print if my laptop(configured as the print server) was turned off, or i was away on business.

this product might work great if you running windows 98 and a hp 610 printer.

i gave it 5 stars because i bought a recertified one at less than half the price of new, it is the only print server i have ever bought and it does the job.
