this item works great and is a good value, especially for turning an old parrellel attached printer into a network printer.
i can print to it directly from my linux pc's instead of setting up a printer share on a windows computer like i was forced to with my old linksys printserver.
i am now able to print wirelessly from any of my three computers in my home.
with the rebate this is the best deal around as far as print servers go.
when you do that it runs an application to locate the printer to install.
after you set up wireless in the web utility, unplug the lan line.
using it with a hp t45 printer.cons: the cds and quick user guide should immediately be burned upon opening the package.
i don't expect any issues adding usb printers.cons: it helps if you know the ins and outs of networking.
read the manual and then remember that it is a local printer, tcip, use a static ip and when setting up use the correct device name.
pros: nonecons: this product looks good cosmetically however you can't judge a print server by its cover!
