the setup with windows xp is a little weird, but the installation guide talks you through it step by step.

i purchased this mainly because i wanted the other computers on our home network to be be able to print if my laptop(configured as the print server) was turned off, or i was away on business.

i spoke with customer service for linksys and stated that a high percentage of home printers are now multi function.

after many hours of frustration and time on hold with linksys, i was informed that this print server does not work with multi-function printers (printer/copier/scanner/fax).
