Pros: * The AutoConnect feature is great!* Even the scanner works from a wireless laptop!INSTALL IMPERATIVES (for trouble-free install and reliable operation):(1) If new printer firmware is available, update your printer. (2) If new printer drivers are available, download them, uninstall the old drivers, make a DIRECT USB connection to the printer, install the new drivers, check print/scan/copy functions well from the computer. Do this for EVERY desktop or laptop that will be sharing the printer.(3) Go to TrendNet and flash the TE100-MP1U with the latest firmware.(4) Download TrendNet's latest software. Use this instead of TrendNet's CDROM.(5) Log in to the router. from Newegg.com Pros: TRENDnet TE100-MP2U – Works great, easy to setup, passed site security scan. Must install software on PC. from Newegg.com I typically have all of the computers setup with limited accounts for security. This print server will not print from a limited account. I contacted tech support at Trendnet and they confirmed my findings. Other Thoughts: This has to be a software issue, so hopefully Trendnet will get it fixed. from Newegg.com i can print and scan on my hp officejet 5610 from a wireless computer some rooms away. from Newegg.com it worked right out of the box and required very little knowlege of networking to setup. from Newegg.com i'm able to print on an hp printer via my windows xp computers that are "wired" to my network and my windows vista laptop that's hooked up wirelessly. from Amazon.com just plugged it in and started printing! from Amazon.com i love not having to keep a pc running to have to print from Amazon.com i can print, fax and scan from any network computer. from Newegg.com print server was easy to set up and works well for regular printer. from Amazon.com
