Needed to network my printer for my office 7 computers. Axis was easy to install and works great. I checked various vendors and Buy.com was the cheapest. from Buy.com This was pretty easy to set up. I did have to download the latest drivers from the Axis website to get it to work properly. I am using this with an older D680 and can say that it works with this product as well as the ones listed. from Buy.com I bought this axis 1650 server and a Canon MF4150 for setting up my home office. Here are some problems I met: from Amazon.com 1) Has both a USB and a LPT1, yet can handle only one printer at a time. 2) Does not work well with Windows Vista. I have 2 XP machines and 1 Vista machine on my home network, but must re-set the port each time I boot up on the Vista machine. from Amazon.com needed to network my printer for my office 7 computers. from Buy.com i am printing from both a xp pro/sp2 computer and a win 2k computer. from Buy.com axis was easy to install and works great. from Buy.com this print server works great with the mf4150 we have. from Amazon.com i expected a print server but my research told me that the scanner function could not be shared. from Amazon.com i was one happy small office owner on finding out that this user firendly device allowed networking of both printing and scanning in my canon mf6530 copier/printer/color scanner. from Amazon.com
