I purchased this print server and a new wireless router when my old combo wireless router/print server died. I installed the wireless router first, then added the printer. from Amazon.com My network card in my printer recently stopped working. Instead of changing the internal network card, I decided to get this print server instead and installed it and worked like a charm. from Amazon.com The D-Link DP-301P Print Server is an excellent product. This my second purchase of this product and it is reliable, compact, fast, and easy to set-up, with flexible options, especially in IP addressing. from Amazon.com The install of this product was very easy (10 mins), and it works/prints very well, from all PC's on my network. I use it with an HP LaserJet4 Plus. from Amazon.com Worked very well, set up was little difficult as D-Link tech support was very poor and I had to figure out the problem when installing. otherwise, works great with no problem. from Amazon.com Comments: I have about 8 of these in production on HP laserjets and they constantly loose connectivity. Its a well known fix that you have to pull the power from the D-Link and plug it back in to get back to printing. from Newegg.com Comments: I have been running this 301P+ for about 6 months now and haven't had to reset it once. It's connected to a HP Laserjet 4P and to each of the 5 computers on the network it appears to be connected directly. from Newegg.com Comments: If your universal PnP is still active, the computer recognizes the print server and your in business.
