I was very disappointed that this Radio Flyer was plastic. I have bought 2 other Radio Flyers and both were made of metal.
I have given the rocket as a gift twice to my friends children and they have loved, loved, loved it! One was a 1 year old girl, who within a few months learned to ride it properly and zooms around the house with it constantly.
You'll be happy you did. I must add, I have an almost 4 year old daughter that loves to pull stickers off of things. The white stripe detail on the rocket is a sticker. So from time to time I have to tell my daughter to stop trying to peel it off.
My son received this for his first birthday a year ago. He loved pressing the buttons to hear the rocket sounds, hiding other toys in the hidden compartment under the sear, and scooting around the house. However, he has looked at it in about 7 months.
My son is 3 1/2 and he has had this rocket since his first birthday. Even though he couldn't ride it at one, he sure could push it!
Our son is just over 1 year old. He loves his rocket. It's just the perfect size.
He loved it. Easy to get on and ride. It's a Radio Flyer, every child needs some form of one. Great gift!
My son loves to zoom around the house on his rocket. We've had to re-secure the wheel once, but it might have been user error in attaching it originally.
I bought this retro-rocket baby toy for my godson on the day of his first birthday. This thing is something you could imagine Vito Corleone giving Lil' Mike to play with in the kitchen, while dad was uh..taking care of ..um family business.
I purchased this radio flyer rocker for my 1 year old son and he loves it. So does his 3 year old brother.
