Car Seats from Britax, Graco and Sunshine Kids Take Top Honors in the 2009 Wize Choice Awards

Based on Consumer Reviews from across the Web, Product Recommendation Engine Wize.com Names the Best – And the Worst – Car Seats

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., October 20, 2009 – When it comes to their kids, moms always want the best! Product recommendation engine Wize.com just made it easy for moms to find the best car seat to buy – and learn which ones to totally avoid – with the 2009 Wize Choice Awards. The car seats that were rated best overall in thousands of reviews from parents across the Web are the Britax Roundabout Denim, Graco Nautilus 3-in-1 Car Seat and Sunshine Kids Monterey.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, the worst car seats – those that have been truly panned by consumer reviews – received the UnWize Choice Award alerting parents to stay far away. The 2009 UnWize Choice Awards for car seats go to the Evenflo Embrace Pink, the Dorel Juvenile Group Bryant Collection Booster Car Seat and the Eddie Bauer Deluxe 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat. Reviews cited safety concerns, shoddy quality and poor design as primary reasons for blackballing these seats.

The Wize Choice Awards are selected using the patent-pending Wize Product Research Engine, which analyzes millions of online product reviews. It allows consumers to search for products using natural, everyday language – "I want a safe and attractive car seat for toddler" – and bases its findings on what consumers have said is important.
