the picture from the hd stations looked as good as it does on my 40" samsung lcd flat panel that's mounted on the wall in my living room.

this 7" lcd comes up with a pretty good picture, tho it would be nice if it had a contrast control along with the brightness control it does have.

this is no miniture version of an 1080p hd plasma or lcd / led television.

lack of replaceable batteries is a limitation, although understandable due to the power draw of the unit (lcd screen, etc.).

the picture is outstanding in its clarity and color accuracy, at least as good as any of the large lcd tvs in the house.
