The scan picked up all of the digital stations in the Chicago area and they come in crystal clear. Occasionally, I may have to move the TV a little or extend the antenna to pick up a station. The TV is so light and can be carried around. from Amazon.com I've scanned more than once. In fact, if you use it for OTA channels and for cable you have to scan at least twice. (I don't know if you can do it using the remote, but you can do it using the controls on the set itself.)
