Cons: No settings for bass and treble. The Bottom Line: It's no longer a dream. The portable DVD-players are here and this is probably the best one on the market. Colors are incredible. from Amazon.com My family recently took this player with us on a long road trip, and it was a great way to entertain the kids. In addition to DVD movies, I recorded several hours of Video CD from my PC TV capture card, and burned hundreds of MP3s onto a few CDs.

Sound through the speakers wasn't quite loud enough for freeway driving, so we hooked the audio-out to an FM transmitter to feed the sound through the car stereo.
