Did not detect proper aspect ratio for non-wide screen commerical DVDs. Screen froze during playback. from Amazon.com It's the best piece of electronics I've ever bought. The whole thing is engineered very well. For example, instead of one headphone jack, there are two -- so that you and a friend can watch a DVD on a plane without disturbing others. Another example: unlike many other models, the LC20 can charge it's battery independently of the player -- so if you have a pair of batteries, you can charge both at the same time, or watch using one battery outside while the other one charges.

Note also that unlike several other players, this model has the option of buying an extra-long extra battery, for 6.5 hours -- with the battery that comes with the player this is about 10 hours of DVDs.
