Mintek was utterly unresponsive. I called their tech support twice (once to be greeted with "mailbox full") and left an email on their website and nobody ever contacted me. from Amazon.com Techies, purchased what appears to be the Costco package of the 10.2" Mintek their MDP-1070. It has poor compatibility with a wide range of DVD media. from Amazon.com The latest 10.2 inch Mintek model is the MDP-1060. This was offered by Costco in summer-2005 with an included carry-case and 2 noise-reduction headsets for $299. from Amazon.com When I first received it everything seemed to be in working order. The monitor display was crisp, and the audio was mediocre. However within 24 hours of me opening the box, the ac adapter failed to work at all. The only way I could get power to my device was buy using my cigarette lighter adapter. from Amazon.com I like this DVD player, because the screen is large, and the price is right. I bought mine for $299 at Costco, complete with case, 2 headphones, remote and all the cords you need to travel, including a car adaptor. from Amazon.com We have never been able to get our MDP-1010 DVD player to work.
