Let me be brief. I bought this unti 2X because of price and both units froze up and broke within a month. It became fuzzy and grey as well as made a buzzing noise. from Amazon.com Not a bad DVD Player for the money! Can't find this model in many stores, but it is currently sold and popular. from Amazon.com I've had the D1501 for about 4 months now and I was really pleased in the beginning, BUT... Early on, I started having trouble with the unit suddenly saying the DVD compartment lid was open in the middle of playback. from Amazon.com Lately, ive had this obession with portable dvd players. Bought it last Father's day, and by this Father's day, it was already broken--won't load, freezes, won't play DVD (apparently the lens needs replacing).
