It does not work. Will have to send back. Only 1/4' of the screen shows a picture, the other 3/4 jumps around--no picture. How disappointed my son was on Christmas Day. from Circuitcity.com I have taken it on several flights, plus frequent home use, and not had a singlproblem. The speakers are small, and thus tinny, so I use headphones for high fidelity sound. The screen is small, which keeps the unit small, but large enough to keep me happy. The ESA was $50 cheaper and has a screen twice as large, comes with a car power adapter, and a remote. This is the lowest price I've ever seen on a personal DVD player. Though the screen is small, I watched several movies on it and was pleased with the color and picture quality. The Player is a low-end player, but does the job asked to do (plays DVDs) at a very reasonable price. It has a 4:3 format screen and it is not progressive scan. The 5" screen is really small, because it's the conventional 4:3 aspect ratio, while most DVDs are widescreen, so you really lose a lot of details. The Panasonic LS5 also has a 5" screen but is widescreen, so it actually gives you more viewing real estate than this one. from Amazon.com
