Purchased this around December 27, 2007. Worked great! However, 3 months later, satellite screen would no longer read its own disc, only the disk from the main screen. A week ago, it stopped reading any disc at all, so only main unit works. from Target.com It works for a while but we are in the southwest and the tape basically melts and we are right back where we started. So I guess what they say is still true, "you get what you pay for". Try to avoid Audiovox all together in my opinion. Don't waste your money. from Target.com Hit the 4 1/2 mo. mark item broke. BUT, I had purchased the warranty so sent it to company Audiovox told me to. That was on April 1, 2008 as of 6/17/08 no item and after 3 weeks of the run around now am being told it is held up in customs!! from Target.com I had bought the same product but the 7in screens and they worked great for about 3 months and then they started to go bad. I spent all that money and then the dvd player stop reading the disc and they said they can do nothing for me because the 90 day warranty was up. from Target.com Easy to hook up in my Nissan Altima, although I found the power cord to be too short for my 10 year old Explorer, had to get a 12v extension for it, but that's more of a limitation of the car than the player. The straps held securely to the headrests and they didn't wobble. Screens were bright and offered plenty of sound for my 3 and 1.5 year old and it didn't overpower the inside of the car so Mom and Dad could listen to their stuff. We haven't used the dual DVD player part yet (although I made sure it worked) but that will be nice when my daughter wants to watch something different than my son does. from Target.com The idea is there but there need to be more research into the development of it. Did they not try it out before putting it on the market? I am now very dicouraged in buying audiovox products. Our previous dvd player had the same concept of dual screen and dual dvd playback, which was very helpful when you have 2 kids that want to watch totally diferrent things at the same time. from Target.com These DVD players were just what we needed, since our children are ages 12 and 3, and we loved the option for them to watch the same or different movies. The big screens were wonderful. Changing out the movies was a snap with the top-loading style. from Target.com We purchased the player for our children. We got to use it 4 times before the second screen image was primarily green. It still played, but the movie color was horrible. from Target.com I purchased this on sale for 199.99. Great DVD player, large screen and great picture. This is not an HD LCD 47" TV, so I don't know what people really expect out of a 9" DVD player. from Target.com Do not buy this product or any other from target electronics!!! This dvd worked for about 5mos then I was unable to return or get a refund, Audiovox will fix them but charge you 50.00 then are not sure they will still work!!!! Spend the money some where else with good return or product policy. from Target.com
