I did a fair amount of research before purchasing a sub-$100 portable DVD player. I have to admit that I'm pleasantly surprised with the quality and durability of this Memorex player so far. (Get the $15 1-yr extended warranty to be safe.) This is a ''box-ier'' player than some, but it is made out of a harder plastic and just ''feels'' more durable than many other players I've hefted. from Tigerdirect.com I was very impressed. Shipping was great from TigerDirect, as usual. I would definitely recommend this Memorex to anyone.
