When it started to act up, a month ago (after 5 years of 16 hour drives to grandmas and sneaking it into my backpack to watch in the middle of play practices then 4 years at college using it asboth a portable and home based unit (amid weekend movie marathons) and a bonus year, even at the roughly $1000 my parents paid for it, I think I got their money's worth. Now, panasonic has my undying loyalty for portable dvd players. At half the price ofmy original, this one is a steal! from Circuitcity.com The image is much better than previous models. Panasonic has always been easy to use and this model is no different. The battery lasts at least 5 hours and your can even view pictures on SD cards. from Circuitcity.com you could get the same quality of product from something else but its just that if you really need the eleven inch screen or not. thats the only thing you really need to consider becuase everything else is just a usual DVD player and it doesn't offer muchmore then a simple 100 dollar DVD player other then just the eleven inch screen. but all in all it has an excellent picture but the sound could be better but the speakers aren't big so what do you expect. from Circuitcity.com Met expectation but low on battery life and poor viewing angle when suspended from head rest.
