i really reccomend this popper, oh and there's just me and the wife at home in case you're wondering about the popper being too big for small families--the popcorn stores nicely and it doesn't last
it's big enough to do a great job but not to heavy to move around.
i recommend the popcorn packs but also look for other coconut oil packs for popcorn machines and "flavacol" for that true theater taste.
it was delivered quickly and was easy to put together.
after cleaning the bike up before selling it, i noticed that the bike was beat...
i was a little skeptical at how it would taste but i can honestly tell you popcorn became our biggest seller this fall at our concession stand.
i also ordered the popcorn portion packs from discount tommys (several times now) as i didn't want to mess with measuring oil, popcorn etc.
the styling is great, the popper cleans up really quickly because of the stainless and the smell and sight of the popcorn coming out of the kettle is just the best..we went ahead and got some great
about the size of a small microwave (i expected bigger), pops about 4 out of 5 kernels, but overall pretty good.
the popcorn i got was flavorless, so make sure to add butter or salt or somthing.
Gift for granddaughter age 11.
I just bought this Electric Nostalgia Electrics OFP901 popcorn Popper, Red/Gold at a resale shop with no instructions and has never been used.
I purchased this popcorn popper because I had previously purchased a similar one at Bed Bath and Beyond, but it recently was knocked to the floor by my cat and stopped working.
the second and third times the kettle got so full so fast that the popcorn stopped the wire arms (that stirs the kettle) and it all got stuck in the kettle.
the cleanup of the kettle is a royal pain, as the top of the kettle doesn't come off (i could come up with a better design!!) the bit glass case is no problem, just the kettle.
you can buy the corn prepackaged with the oil and flavorings and that makes it easy.
this item looks nice but is not user friendly.
the product was delivered quickly which was impressive however, once opened, it appeared to be cheaply made.
The bad news is that it shoots out alot of unpopped kernals, and it also shoots out the popcorn all over the place outside of the bowl (yes, I've tried tall containers to catch the popcorn).
I have the Toastmaster TPC3 Hot Air Popcorn Popper, which appears to be identical to the TMPC4 that is discussed here.
I only used this popcorn popper once before it stopped working altogether!
If you are looking for a popcorn popper - This is not the appliance you are looking for.
It's hard to believe that this was actually designed as a popcorn popper.
