i haven't played a dragon ball game since the 16-bit snes days (through imported cartridges) so it was a pleasant surprise to see my old friends kicking alive and well on today's generation of
it has great stuff like dragon rush, i suggest anyone out there pick this game up, you can get it for $20 or so.
summary: i haven't played a dragon ball game since the 16-bit snes days (through imported cartridges) so it was a pleasant surprise to see my old friends kicking alive and well on today's
this is gunna be the worst dbz game ever i mean like will it only go up to baby or is it gunna be the whole thing including finding the dragonballs.
all of frieza and cell's forms are in the game and it is said that there will be a story mode, dragon road *customize your character* gogeta is in the game and so are ssj4 forms!!!!
so, you actually have to dodge, attack at the right times and block rather than having some super high lvl character that can chop a whole dragons head off with a butter knife.
the game is really really hard, and without your friends, battling the huge dragons is nearly impossible.
this game is really fun if you enjoy hunting prehistoric dinosaurs and dragons.
you get a nice feeling of accomplishment when a dragon many times your size lies defeated at your feet.
also when you beat more wyverns(dragons) you are able to make better armour and weapons.
"despite the learning curve, dragon ball z: budokai tenkaichi 2 is a worthy purchase"
the dragon ballz game i bought is too awesome for experienced movie or episode wviewers now playing the awesome game with many interstiong moves to defeat your opponent like a pan cake.
out of the games i have played, this is the best dragonball z budokai game of the series.
dragon ball z budokai tenkaichi 2.
this game is a masterpiece of the dragonball name.
in the first game you were always challenged by the difficulty, whether it was the battle with ursula on atlantica, the colliseum battle with hades or the battle with the dragon (unless you were
you go to new worlds this time, like the realistic port royal, and the word of mulan (which is called "land of dragons").
here comes xaldin riding a dragon which makes him invulnerable against your attacks, while kicking your tail from here to halloween town!
my personal favorites are the land of dragons(mulan), port royal, steamboat willy, and pride lands.
most of the old worlds are there, and several new ones (pirates of the caribbean, tron, land of dragons or mulan's world, and beast's castle.)
i was very excited when i actually got to battle maleficent, and it was great when she transforms into a dragon.
you can get it out of a chest in the emperor's throne room after defeating the dragon heartless on the second visit to mulan's world.
first square and enix merge, effectively bringing together the makers of two of the largest rpg's of all time (dragon quest and final fantasy).
i've been a die hard fan of rpg's ever since i was young playing games like zelda, dragon warrior, king's quest, and the like.
always backed up by your companions, donald duck and goofy, the trio encounter everything from spiders in pots to giant evil dragons, including the guardian of the underworld, cerebrus.
there is nothing like clinging onto a huge dragon-like beast soaring hundreds of feet in the air.
just like every other game with a dragon, or some other monster, that you must defeat and save the town.
and the last 5 or so of the battles are the real showstoppers, especially the gigantic flying sand dragon - it's immense!!
another required that i shoot down these sacs so this dragon will stop flying then climb his wings then find 3 points.
very "dungeons and dragons" so to speak.
the demo i played had you facing the evil hydra the multiheaded dragon from the ocean.
it reminded me more a lot of that old '80s laserdisc game, "dragon's lair."
every action / fighter since double dragon has had a grappling or throwing system of some sort, however simple and underdeveloped it might be...
so its pretty much like playing 2-d double dragon, streets of rage or golden axe with more flash.
one particularly memorably moment is the fight against the three-headed dragon from greek mythology, the hydra, who the players must destroy using an etire ship as a weapon.
in the game )) + some dragonball ideas ( not power ups ) , i played this game for 133 hours ( of course everything is completed )and i'm sorry it ended ( you can finish the game much faster but i
for rpg's this game is different because you are a wolf the other rpg's that i play you are people and my fav.(dragon).
you have the powers of a god and can jump on and off walls, swing on vines.in the game you get to fight demons, dragons, and monkeys!
that white wolf is the goddess amaterasu, who has manifested a mortal form to battle an eight-headed dragon terrorizing the land.
okami puts the other cel-shaded games to shame (dragon quest, wind waker, etc.); although i prefer cel-shaded to realism.
and blasts the enemy and a dragon which appears in orbit and fires an energy beam powerful enough to flatten a mountain at your enemies.bad points...a few but nothing which really spoils it.
and then there's the awesome six-winged dragon, bahamut zero, flying in space, second only to the coolest of all, knights of round.
those excuses are just so tired >_< the word "fantasy" is defined as 'the creative imagination' (ie, not necessarily 'dungeons and dragons' type atmosphere).
massive dragons heed your bidding, dwarfing your gigantic enemies tenfold; an earth titan tears the ground up from beneath your enemies' feet, flinging them aside like toy blocks.
the popularity is devide to dragon questo(warrior) in half.
10000 times better than the original devil may cry or player may cry which was basically a 2-d game with 3-d graphics, pretty much like double dragon or golden axe imo.
way of the samurai or crouching tiger hidden dragon.
the controls are easy and allow any one to pull of combinations that would only be seen in movies such as "the matrix" or "croutching tiger hidden dragon".
who here remembers the double dragon games?
using the beowulf gauntlets, you get a dragon punch that finishes with a hurricane kick at its appex.
i would love to see this type of fighting game with a dungeons and dragons setting.
but, if you want a fantastic two-player beat-em-up experience which far exceeds old memories of double dragon, final fight or ninja turtles, then buy this game.
guan yu really had the green dragon blade!
i thought i had my fill with games such as dungeons & dragons (board games/roleplaying games) but i haven't ever found a game like final fantasy x that makes me want to just get up before work and
this is a pretty nice rpg...if u like digitalized movies...but the gameplay isnt bad...this really reminds me of the dragon ball z show...i hated it...25 mins of talk 5 mins of fighting.
some have criticized square for not making this game a "fantasy" game with dragons and goblins and wizards.
final fantasy x is simply boring after you realize that some vaguely dragon-like creature is exactly the same as some vaguely blob-like creature, only differing in cosmetics and stats.
when i think of role-playing games, i think of games designed for losers living in their mother's basement watching star trek reruns and playing dungeons and dragons.
indeed, any company who is lucky enough to employ a final fantasy game designer or artist, such as kartia: the word of fate or the recently released blue dragon of the xbox 360, is very quick to
this is the side quest where you can find some of the toughest monsters in the game such as the iron giants, behemoths and ruby dragons which are the toughest kind of dragons in the game.
if u want to beat the game in less than 60 hours, get all the gf's and still become so strong to be omega weapon u have to go to the "near to hell island" or "dragons island" cuz its the best place.
second, the card game is probably the most addictive mini-game anywhere, although the skateboarding in spyro: year of the dragon is fun.
i am the type of rpg gamer who likes to chop heads off, burn down castles, pillage villages and slay dragons.
best role playing game ever next to dungeons and dragons.
i like dragon warrior.
running on the deadly alliance engine, deception picks up right after the conclusion of the previous game as onaga the dragon king makes short work of raiden, shang tsung, and quan chi; and has taken
reptile, however is now the dragon king.
the game picks up immediately where deadly alliance left off, with a shocking opening cinema revealing the death of earthrealm's heroes, and featuring the return of the dreaded 'dragon king'.
if i'm fighting an eight foot dragon and he breathes flames over 97% of my body, i can accept the fact that my fighter may have trouble continuing.
it's really cool!!if you had an interest in spyro da dragon or any other games like that i would recommend it.
the game is made by the same people who created the original spyro the dragon series, which i would also recomend to anyone as a great classic,(the newest spyro, "spyro, enter the dragonfly", is
basically, it's the people from spyro, free of the constraints of the purple dragon, and allowed to make a great, classic, game.
perfect, dusty rhoades, rick rude, ricky the dragon steamboat.
but i lost cuz he put a sort of dragon sleeper on me.
i've played the spyro the dragons and the jaxx and daxters and they didn't really do it for me.
