It's hard to justify purchasing a "special edition" of a game that was released less than a year after the original version, but Persona 3 FES is a rare exception, and absolutely worth purchasing by fans new and old. I played through the original release of Persona 3 exhaustively (over 100 hours were devoted to one play-through), and loved every moment of it. from Amazon.com It is an amazing game. Even though I wanted to go straight to "The Answer" where you play as Aigis, I didn't so I played "The Journey" first to see the changes. I absolutely love the new Persona's you get. If you want a game that will last you forever buy Persona 3 FES. The story of Persona 3 sees you as a young male student, new in town and joining a new school. Persona 3 is the third game in a series I've loved since PS1, but mostly people either never bothered to play it or simply couldn't find them due to severe rarity. It is your basic rpg in that it involves a small group of characters trying to save the world from some sort of catastrophe, you fight random battles, you gain levels, you buy gear, and you trudge through 60+ hours of gameplay to come to the conclusion of a sureal storyline. from Amazon.com I think anyone could enjoy this though, a note to parents: there is a lot of violence and the characters make use of triggers shaped like shotguns which they turn on themselves to activate their special powers. This is not an ideal game for young children who could view this type of behavior and mimic it in real life.
