The story was great. The Sphere Grid system was probably the coolest method of character development I've ever seen. Plus, the great graphics nearly sealed the deal.

The game is not without it's problems, though. The game suddenly gets extremely difficult really fast.

The storyline is terrific, there's lots of character development, and there are tons of interesting places in Spira for you to visit. A lot of the plot leaves you wanting and the twists that were thrown were predictable and never fully developed.

The graphics were excellent and going back to the turn based combat was a plus for strategy but the story, while good, could have been a whole lot better. The idea needed to be fleshed out more then they did.
