AT&T TL71308 5.8GHz Digital Three Handset Cordless Telephone (Titanium and Metallic Charcoal) from Amazon.com Ultimately, for 2 of the 3 handsets that I struggled with, it took two and a half days of charging before the handsets would illuminate and operate properly. The supplied rechargable batteries had been supplied in an extremely depleted state, despite the factory seal on the carton. UPDATE:The 3 batteries supplied with this telephone set were bad batteries, which couldn't hold a charge for more than a day, even with the phones idle. I returned this cordless telephone set to the merchant and got a replacement set that works fine. from Amazon.com I bought this phone specifically because it can be wall-mounted. While the base is designed to fit onto a telephone wall plate, the wiring is not. from Amazon.com I have gone through way too many phones over the past several years. Uniden, Panasonic and ATT. from Amazon.com I purchased the AT&T TL 71308 three phone package about a year ago. Of my three units one will hold a charge for about 3 minutes of talk time and the other poops out after less than 10 minutes of use, even less if you use it at a speaker phone. from Amazon.com I was looking for a cordless phone that was fairly simple to use/program and that didn't have an answering machine. There is much to like about this phone. from Amazon.com Just puchased this phone and am extremly happy with it!The software and menu are very easy to navigate,the base acts as the memory for all 3 hand sets so any # you program in 1 handset is in all. Sound is clear,keypad has a nice touch,large screen for easy viewing,nice feel to the handsets. from Amazon.com The Good: Very clear voice quality, nice feel to the buttons, great not having antennae on the base station, conveniently displaying the time and date on the receivers, simple menus, the ability to directly change the ringer volume without going through the menus (something my Panasonic cordless phones can't do), not having an answering machine, and voice mail indicator (although that didn't work with my Verizon service in Los Angeles). The So-So: As with many cordless phones (even ones like these that have speaker phones in the receivers), the phone disconnects when placed into the cradle (which is inconvenient during a call when the battery runs low). from Amazon.com The quality of the phone and handsets are top notch, and has good features. How ever they are lacking in two primary areas for me. from Amazon.com These are the perfect phones if you don't feel like running phone cables throughout your home.
