The Netgear Dual Mode Cordless Phone is excellent phone with a couple minor flaws. While the range, ease of setup, and the ability to use your Skype account without your computer are all GREAT. from Bestbuy.com The money I save will pay for the phone in just three months. The call quality is better than I could have imagined based upon my research. You can even buy up to three more handsets and use all of them at home simultaneously for no extra cost. This is actually the second we bought. from Buy.com Picked this up on a sale at Best Buy and am pleased with the cost to value ratio. I have a laptop and whenever I wanted to use Skype, I would have to connect a headset and edit the Skype settings so that it was configured correctly for me to use the headset. Unfortunately, Skype does a fairly poor job remembering these settings (but that's a SKYPE issue, not Netgear!).
