Finally I have to give it up. Please don't buy this phone. It's just not up to the Panasonic brand!!! from Buy.com Wish they had a way to use 2 AA batteries for caller ID so I don't have to plug the thing in since I don't use the ans. machine part. Sound quality is as good as any panasonic phone. No regrets overall but I wish I had bought a phone with just 2 AA batteries for the caller ID. from Buy.com This phone works great for what I wanted, as I needed one with an answering machine, it is clear and fairly easy to set up. The reason for selecting Panasonic is this phone replaced my old Panasonic phone that served me more than ten years without a problem.
