The phone does much of what was promised, but there are two important glitches. The most significant is no improvement in range over our previous 2.4 Gz phone. from Amazon.com I purchased 6 of these wireless phones to use with the matching Panasonic KX-TG9392T desk/speakerphone. It didn't take long for me to be surprised when these phones would go into periodic garbled mode. There was no consistency to the sound degradation; it seemed to happen with different handsets and in various locations around my home. from Amazon.com Please read previous reviews. It still needs to be sent back to the manufacturer to get the updated firmware so that there is no dropping of calls when another cell phone is in the vicinity.
