I bought 3 SL78H handsets to work with the SL785. These are fantastic. from Amazon.com I've gone through a number of dissatisfying $100 Panasonic 2.4GHz phones, and tried a Philips VOIP841 (terribly scratchy audio), and decided that maybe I should just buy a higher end model to get some actual quality. I bought this and an extra handset (SL78H), and I am generally happy with its performance. Our apartment is 70' x 21', in an old brownstone with numerous plaster/brick walls. from Amazon.com To start for lack of other words the SL785 is a work of art, this multi-featured phone has exceptional clarity good range and looks fantastic. On a lower note capable of bluetooth operation it can only do so with the use of a headset, the SL78H handset will not allow bluetooth use this I found disappointing. from Amazon.com This is the best cordless phone I have used to date. Used one over a friend's house and I immediately felt the need to purchase it(style, quality, sound). from Amazon.com I have been a long time user of the Siemens Gigaset products (started with 4100 series) and this new SL785 & companion SL78H series are fantastic. (Kudos to the menu layout. If I had a complaint and this is one that I have had about every cordless phone I have had, is that the phonebook entries do not share or update between handsets.
