Best Personal Radios for Generator

this little radio made the list with it's built-in generator.

after cranking the generator for 90 seconds, i've actually gotten 2 hours of radio use from the nimh battery pack.

i like the hand crank generator feature the best.the radio will play at moderate levels for at least one hour after cranking the generator for 90 seconds.

i like this radio's reception and perfomrance better than the coleman generator radio.

the generator can provide exceptionally long time of power supply to both radio and lights.

i thought i would try to see what kind of life it would get with only the crank power (i had assumed it was running of battery power) and what?....the switch was on generator.

my wife had bought me a eton/grundig fr-300 but the generator handle stripped out after about a week's worth of use.

reception is not the best,but adequate for what it is.lots of images on all bands,and the am is barn-door wide,but i have worse performing radios.the hand crank genorator is not the clockwork

great generator feature!

however, i would recommend only using the crank generator when the power goes out for extended periods.

the battery can be charged by turning the crank generator.

(the internal generator produces a fair amount of crank resistance-- so it's only a matter of time before this handle will break.)
