The tone of the DT 210 was extraordinarily good, especially when I substituted the headphones from my discarded Panasonic radio from Buy.com I have every digital pocket portable that Sangean has produced over the past ten years. This review puts the DT-210V at the head of the pack for price and features.

from Buy.com I bought the Sangean DT-210V radio to listen to the football play-by-play broadcast on the AM band at Dolphin games. The reception is great, and the sound quality exceeds my expectations. My previous from Amazon.com I feel strongly compelled to add to this discussion and the comparison between the Sangean DT-210V and the newer model Sangean DT-400W pocket size radio.

First off... I have both in my from Amazon.com I've been very happy with my Sangean DT-210 V AM/FM/TV pocket size digital radio! It's nice & compact, even though it has a built in speaker. I will primarily or only use the earphones but it's nice from Amazon.com 't actually have the DT-210V, but I have the previous model of it and have had it for 10+ years. When I first saw the price I almost didn't buy the Sangean because I thought it was crazy to pay from Newegg.com My first issue with the Sangean DT-210V is that the reception is no better than the $10 Sony I purchased back in 2000. My second is that after only a few months of use my DT-210V no longer works. My from Amazon.com of the commute where the audio breaks down badly with hiss and interference, and some days the whole commute seems this way. After a week with the Sangean DT-210V, I am happy with the reception on the entire from Amazon.com Why is it so difficult to find a battery powered radio with external speaker these days?

Anyway, now that I've got that off my chest, I'm happy to say that the Sangean DT-210V delivered from Amazon.com With my old portable radio, I heard a background hissing noise through my Grado SR80 headphones, so I thought I would try something else. The Sangean DT-210V has no such problem. Once it locks onto from Amazon.com speaker for use at home or hotel, etc.

I am a walker. I walk 2-3 miles a day. Sometimes I might even jog. Seeking a simple appproach (no installation hassle) I decided to try a Sangean DT-210V. I attached from Amazon.com , an AIWA. With that unit, I needed to sit in a particular area in order to marginally receive one of two stations to which I listen. With the Sangean DT-210V and sitting in the same area as well as farther from Amazon.com I had the previous version of this radio and left it in a hotel room. After trying a Radio Shack product, I got tired of using up batteries so fast and bought the DT-210V.
It is easy on the two from Amazon.com The Sangean DT-210V is not perfect, and it is much more expensive than the Sony and Panasonic conventional analog tuning "transistor radios" that I have used before this model. But this radio from Amazon.com on my DT-210V I note a problem with the RF Tuner in the AM band: WKZO is locally 590 khz but I can only tune the radio to 594 or 585 resulting in less than good reception. the tuner need a manual from Amazon.com with the quality of the speaker for talk shows, etc., when the bass enhancement feature is"off." I am a serious, every day listener of radio. I like the DT-210V, and I recommend it. from Amazon.com and was thus alerted to Sangean radios. On the basis of those reviews I ordered a Sangean DT 210 V online for about $42.

After readng the reviews on the DT-210V, I decided to chance it. While I would have preferred a smaller unit, the reviews for the DT-110 didn't emphasize sound quality from Amazon.com DT-210V's from Amazon in as many years, but the second one is currently dying the same death that ended the first one. The design is very user-friendly, and I use every feature; presets, headphone from Amazon.com . If you take radio listening seriously, it's time for an equally serious radio you can take with you; the Sangean DT-210V nets my highest recommendation.

I received the DT-210V only eight days ago and had similarly high
expectations. I am extremely

from Amazon.com selected the DT-210V rather than other Sangean models because it includes the bass boost. The other models didn't seem to have that feature. My only criticism is that accessing the preset stations requires from Amazon.com % of the time I use heaphones. The "Deep Bass Boost" (DBB) works fine with headphones, but I prefer a flat response.

I think the DT-210V deserves 5 stars, simply because it's the best pocket size radio from Amazon.com I had a Radio Shack radio that I listened to for the past few years. It went out, so I ordered the Sangean 210 and it blows away that old Radio Shack radio. I'm able to recieve all three bands (AM/FM/TV from Amazon.com I listen to the radio about 4-5 hours per day. The buttons are easy to use and invaluable to the radio. I was not delighted to find it was battery operated only. Amazon lists a Sony AC Power Adapter as a suggested accompanying product. Therefore, I assumed it would work with the Sangean DT-210 from Amazon.com I purchased my third Sangean radio model DT-210 recently.
These radios have great FM reception. My FM sports show is a fairly weak dignal with old Sony and it is much improved with the Sangean from Amazon.com the head phones.

I miss an armband but it OK by me to carry the radio in my shirt pocket.

I used to have a not so small bulky analog dialed radio to listen to news radio and carry around the house.
The Sangean DT-210 from Amazon.com and like magic, he can hear it and I can't. The signal is great, just as it is on my other two Sangean radios, and the battery doesn't die quickly like it did with my last handheld radio. As a plus, it shuts from Amazon.com and now is working...% weeks???, it only took me 2 days to receive from Amazon and 1 day to send it to Sangean. Radio now works, but sound quality remains poor when above minimum volume level. My 10 year from Amazon.com I've had my Sangean pocket sized radio a couple months and so far I like
it a lot better then the Sony Walkman radios I've been buying for
several years. I'm hard hearing so I like from Amazon.com This is a nice little radio. AM, FM and TV reception to boot.

Reception is great and having a PLL circuit sure beats my other analog radio.
