Best Personal CD Players for Track

incredible track record for something so abused, i take much better care of it now..love this little machine.

it had a problem and would skip tracks in the last 10% of the cd.

am keeping track of how long this second battery lasts.

i would have preferred the window for checking tracks to have been illuminated.

the mp3s dont even take long to play, as soon as you click next they start playing, it shows only the number track like 001 but then to my suprise i clicked display and now it shows artist, track

the motor noise is the loudest i've heard from any panasonic/sony portable player; when the unit starts up or tracks a song, the noise can be loud enough to disturb my (sleeping) partner.

cd players may be fading away as mp3 players replace them, so this sony cd walkman might be regarded one of the peaks of personal cd player technology before personal cd players go the way of 8-tracks

-you can fastforward thru mp3 tracks (not the case with panasonic players)

it is far to fussy about how you press the button (s) in order to advance or repeat tracks.

it has trouble tracking and makes a horrid noise every few seconds.

the only draw back is that it does not remember what track you left off at therefore you have to manually go back to that track when you start it up again.

it skips when you walk with it, the sound quality is poor, and it lags when you try to skip tracks.

the display did not work, and it skips tracks constantly.
