really like the features on the cd walk men and the sound is great
lightweight, doesn't skip while walking, replaced ear buds with $17.00 pair that clip onthe ear...
i cannot give it 5 stars because it didn't come with an ac adapter and there is a jog switch used to adjust the volume that feels very cheap and will quite likely break or wear out all too soon.
my grados use a bit more power than most cans, so you'll should get close to the 20 hour cd spec with small headphones run at a modest volume.
it is a very good choice unless you need something small, like when exercising...then a flash player would be your best bet.
i think they're much more comfortable thanearbuds and better for when you need to be able to hear other things around you (like when walking or when you want to hear if the phone rings etc.).
doesn't skip at all when i stuff it into my jacket pockets and walk my dog.
i use it to jog, work and walking the pups.
use it while walking and it doesn't skip, and plays well on public transportation.
i've had several cd walkmen, most recently a sony, which lasted years and worked much better and longer than other brands.
use it as background music during my work-outs with elipticle cross training exercise machine
the only was it could be better is if it would do my walking for me.
i would suggest this product to any one who loves to walk and listen to their favorite music.
it's fairly good about playing scratched cds and has not jumped while i have been working out in the yard or walking with it.
i use my cd player to listen to books on tape when i go for my daily walks.
it has good sound and is reliable for stopping and starting as i meet people or stop at in the middle of a cd when i finish my walk.
got it for my dad to walk with.he found it had too many buttons!
it also improved the line quality of my internet cable running from the wall.
you can run the whole thing on one battery, which means
this one has a simple design and functions, it doesn't skip on me, even when i exercise.
otherwise, the long life of the single battery required to run the unit should make it easy to forget about ac adapters or rechargeables.

one of the things i like about this model is its capacity to run for days on a sole battery.
i purchased this product for myself and my husband to take with us when we walk or fish or whatever.
not bad so far, the only thing i probably can have used is a clip, or something to help me carry it on the walks.
i use it for walking, listening to meditating cds, audio books, everything and have not had one single problem with it.
i run with it and it never skips.
-sometimes it would skip when i was walking (don't even think about running with the thing.)
this player, however, seems better at the gym, in terms of being able to handle bumps during cardio workouts.
i bought this item to listen to recorded books while walking.
it also works great when i am on the treadmill.
levels vary from basic platforming to running from charging onslaughts to vehicle levels to underwater levels to battling bosses.
just your standard crash on the run game!
all i can say is: "i would definitely recommend this product to anyone", fm radio works fine sometimes you just have to walk around a bit or rotate the cd player a little bit to catch a good signal
its helpful when you're on the go jogging , so if thats all you'll use it for, this is no bother.
the sony atrac is great, easy to walk/run when i go outside to exercise.
run and sounds fine, but the hand strap is uncomfortable and the display will popout after a while.
if you plan to backpack it, weightlift or jog with it.
