like this product very much, easy to use, only problem is i notice the cds skip easily when player is moved, otherwise i would highly recommend this sony product.
otherwise, the long life of the single battery required to run the unit should make it easy to forget about ac adapters or rechargeable batteries.
this one has a simple design and functions, it doesn't skip on me, even when i exercise.

true to what others have said, this player provides excellent sound quality, it can be carried around with very few incidents of skipping, and the device and remote are easy to use.
i used this player primarily for listening to while walking around.
apparently folks are making the same mistake with the car connecting pack, but luckily the solution is very simple.
it is so easy to use and i just love the little remote which can fast forward to a song or backup to a song or turn the unit off.
the bottom line: i’m a simple kind of guy.
i have had 5 months of non stop pleasure listening to all sorts of music with this combo and never run out of volume - even with my hearing.
navigating through your mp3s using the remote is simple.
i'd highly recommand you to buy much cheaper cdps from sony or panasonic that is much simpler and less frigile even though they are abit bigger than this one.
was purchased as a gift and got to see how wonderful the product was and easy to use.
really like the features on the cd walk men and the sound is great
lightweight, doesn't skip while walking, replaced ear buds with $17.00 pair that clip onthe ear...
very excellent unit - easy to use.
works great easy to use pros: durable, good sound, lightweight, stable best uses: daily use
its inferface isn't as simple as some other players, but a short amount of study should provide a solid feel for its feature set.
this player, however, seems better at the gym, in terms of being able to handle bumps during cardio workouts.
i bought this item to listen to recorded books while walking.
it also works great when i am on the treadmill.
just your standard crash on the run game!
levels vary from basic platforming to running from charging onslaughts to vehicle levels to underwater levels to battling bosses.
all i can say is: "i would definitely recommend this product to anyone", fm radio works fine sometimes you just have to walk around a bit or rotate the cd player a little bit to catch a good signal
its helpful when you're on the go jogging , so if thats all you'll use it for, this is no bother.
the software is terrible, it looks nice it's easy to use but it took me about 2 1/2 hours to copy 182 songs on a p4 2.8ghz, 640mb ram, i mean come on!
the sony atrac is great, easy to walk/run when i go outside to exercise.
its easy to use, has great sound and battery life, and has tons of bells and whistles.
the ease of use on this model has been dowgraded somewhat in my opinion.
yes, the handle makes it a bit too big for day to day use, but it is very useful when it comes to jogging.
the bottom line: poorly designed, bulky, and useful for jogging only.
it is a a nice all around walkman.
strengths: long lasting battery, plays mp3, antishock, atrac, solid construction, weaknesses: odd design, difficult to carry due to unremovable handle summary: it is a a nice all around walkman.
when the car is running on road and some noise is there outside, then you feel that that sound is a bit low and cannot hear properly.
i purchased this product for myself and my husband to take with us when we walk or fish or whatever.
not bad so far, the only thing i probably can have used is a clip, or something to help me carry it on the walks.
i use it for walking, listening to meditating cds, audio books, everything and have not had one single problem with it.
i run with it and it never skips.
it is very "simple" to use, and plays cdrs fine.
